Why Keciborlu?

Mediterranean region is rich in medical and aromatic plant diversity. There are 9,200 plant species known to exist in the region. There are over 3500 medical plants in the vicinity of Isparta, Antalya and Burdur. Number of pant species that are endemic to Isparta region (that are specific to this geography and not found elsewhere) mount up to 860.

The region also has the climatic features of Aegean region and Marmara region. It is also known that Keciborlu supplies 60% of the rose oil production. Globally famous lavender village is also in Keciborlu. Numerous advantages of the region with respect to medical plants has also been instrumental in development of the region. Universities in the region have signed many significant studies on medical plants with accredited laboratories.
